LONGi officially launched its integrated solar and energy storage solution, LONGi ONE, in Egypt on August 11, marking an important milestone in the company’s commitment to supporting the country’s clean energy transition. Madiha Mohamed, head of Egypt Public Affairs Sector, has participated the launch and shared insights into the latest trends shaping Egypt’s renewable energy market.

Held under the theme “Tomorrow Starts with ONE,” the Egypt Storage & PV Launch Event brought together government representatives, renewable energy developers, EPC companies, investors, industry leaders and LONGi’s regional management and technical teams to explore new opportunities for integrated solar and storage development in Egypt and the wider MENA region

Supporting Egypt’s Next Energy Chapter

Egypt is entering a new stage of renewable energy development. With renewable power capacity continuing to grow and the country targeting 42% renewable energy penetration by 2030, the next phase of energy transition will require not only additional generation capacity, but also stronger grid flexibility, energy storage and intelligent energy management.

Against this backdrop, LONGi introduced LONGi ONE as an integrated energy solution that combines photovoltaic generation, battery energy storage, digital intelligence and lifecycle services into one coordinated ecosystem.
